BEYOND THE TITLES.INTO THE CONVERSATIONSTHAT MATTER.

Some conversations challenge the way we think.

Others change the way we see the world.

The most powerful ones remind us of what it means to be human.

I'm Laura Cowell. A CEO, community leader, advocate, broadcaster and someone who believes the most meaningful conversations happen when we move beyond titles, assumptions and expectations.

I bring real-world experience, lived stories and a genuine belief in human connection to every stage, panel and conversation.

I DON'T JUST WANT PEOPLE TO LISTEN.I WANT THEM TO LEAVE THINKING.

I've spent years working across boardrooms, council chambers, community organisations, sporting fields and broadcasting.

Each environment has taught me something different about people.

About purpose.

About the importance of listening.

About the courage it takes to challenge expectations.

And about the extraordinary things that can happen when people feel seen, heard and valued.

I don't believe a powerful presentation needs to have all the answers.

Sometimes the most valuable thing a speaker can do is leave an audience asking better questions.

My approach is grounded in authentic storytelling, real-world experience, empathy and a willingness to talk about the things that aren't always comfortable.

CONVERSATIONS WORTH HAVING.

Every audience is different. I tailor my presentations to the people in the room, the purpose of the event and the conversations that matter most.

Laura Cowell — professional portrait

EXPERIENCE SHAPES THE CONVERSATION.

I'm fortunate to bring a range of perspectives to the stage.

As Group CEO of Tender Loving Care, I understand the complexity and responsibility of leading organisations and people.

Through local government, I've experienced the importance of representation, accountability and community trust.

As President of the Sutherland Shire Football Association, I've witnessed the extraordinary contribution of volunteers and the power of participation and belonging.

Through rare disease and disability advocacy, I bring a lived understanding of barriers that aren't always visible.

And through Amplify with Laura C, I've experienced how powerful it can be to create space for someone else's story.

I don't separate these experiences when I step onto a stage.

They shape the way I listen, the questions I ask and the conversations I want to create.

I DON'T NEED EVERYONE TO AGREE WITH ME.

I HOPE THEY LEAVE WILLING TO THINK DIFFERENTLY.

Because sometimes one conversation is enough to change the way we see something.
